Client: Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council.

Project: The design and build of a new primary school at Queens Exchange, Merthyr Tydfil to BREEAM Excellence Standards. The school will have a capacity of 390 pupils plus nursery, an ICT suite, two halls, a teaching kitchen/resource area and community room. A naturally ventilated environment with solar panels to pre-heat water for the boiler system and harvest rainwater for the toilets. Externally the school will have playing fields and a nature area and trail along with an outdoor classroom and amphitheatre area.
