As work at Millbank Primary School comes to a close the children were given a sneak preview of their new facility last week.

A selection of pupils were given a guided tour and were able to look around the new school and ask the construction team questions.  The feedback from the visitors was excellent with all impressed with the work that has been done to modernise the facility and extend the age range by providing a nursery unit.

As well as refurbishment and alteration work to the existing Primary School, an innovative single storey extension built utilising Durisol Blockwork has provided additional classrooms, reception area, main hall and kitchen.

The children will be moving in on their return from Christmas break in January which will be extremely welcomed since they have been sharing space at Ninian Park Primary School whilst the works were carried out. The children and staff are very excited to move back into their newly refurbished school and start using the new facilities.

The project team are pleased with the overall quality and progression of the scheme and expect to handover the project this week.
