The 28th February 2014 marks the end of the month long campaign for men at WRW to grow their beards in support of the Ray Gravell and Friends Charitable Trust.

Ray Gravell, a former Director at WRW, was a true Welsh legend who sadly died of a heart attack in October 2007, aged 56. The Grow a Grav campaign seeks to raise vital funds for the WRPA’s Benevolent Trust which aims to provide support to current and former professional rugby players in times of financial hardship through serious illness or injury, as well as raising funds for the Ray Gravell and Friends Charitable Trust, to provide assistance to charities that were close to Ray’s heart.

In support of the Trust, employees at WRW have grown a beard in the style of the late Gravell for the whole of February and raised £388.  WRW matched this sum bringing the total to £776.

All contestants were clean shaven on the morning of the 1st February and were given the month to grow their beard and style to form a 'Grav'.
