Arfryn House is WRW's second project to be chosen to go through to the LABC Cymru South Wales Regional Awards where the winners of 10 other Authority's will be participating.

The LABC Building Excellence Awards celebrate all that’s good in the construction industry. The awards look for vital elements in the creation of excellent buildings; technical innovation, sustainability and high performance. They also seek the special working relationships that produce new or creative solutions. LABC recognises excellence in all kinds of buildings, large and small including kitchen extensions, new homes, schools, retail centres or notable buildings like the Shard or Olympic Stadium.

The Arfryn House Development is located in Cowbridge, Cardiff and comprised the demolition of an existing farm house and the construction of a new six bedroom residence.

The success follows on from the LABC Cymru Vale of Glamorgan Council Building Excellence Award that the project has recently been awarded and gives WRW two projects shortlisted for this award. The project team including WRW and 1010 Architects will enjoy an award ceremony at the Vale Hotel in April where the winner will be announced.
