WRW Construction is the core subsidiary company of the WRW Group and was founded by the Group Chairman and Managing Director Robert Williams and his wife Debbie more than 25 years ago. The company has its roots firmly embedded in West Wales and has been built on a solid foundation based on core family values together with high levels of excellence and professionalism.  

WRW Construction has witnessed significant growth in recent years and is now one of the leading construction companies in Wales with many high profile and award-winning projects to its credit.  

These include, but are not limited to:

  • The Llanelli Coastal Park's landmark £36 million pound Machynys Golf Club and the Pentre Nicklaus Village housing scheme which has won nationwide acclaim and three prestigious UK awards.
  • The £4.25 million redevelopment of Gwersyll yr Urdd (Welsh youth movement's adventure centre) at Llangrannog, which included a new sports hall and visitor accommodation facilities comprising student bedrooms and meeting rooms.
  •  Numerous major capital school build projects for Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Merthyr Councils, together with the Welsh Nursery Movement's (Mudiad Meithrin) new HQ and Nursery School at Aberystwyth. These range in size from £3.5m to £6.5m.
  • A £6m Sustainable Visitor Centre at Margam Park for Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.
  • A £5.5m Training and Innovation Centre at Gorseinon for Swansea Council.
  • A new Fire Station at Maesteg for the South Wales Fire Authority.
  • A Sustainable Office Reclamation at Malpas Court for Newport Council.
  • A prestigious scheme for the National Library of Wales at Aberystwyth, comprising a new Visitor Centre and Lecture Theatre (Y Drwm).

WRW Construction is an approved Contractor of standing to some 20 public sector bodies in South and Mid Wales, including local authorities, NHS Trusts, colleges and fire authorities.
